Cecil has completely devoted himself to the study of magic, and the collection of magical artifacts. Often he can be found reading an ancient tome or scrying in his orb (as long as it's not currently lost).

Despite his continuous studies, Cecil is not very powerful and struggles to cast magic heavy spells. Though, he does have an affinity for ‘homey’ magic such as, but not limited to: animated brooms, self washing dishes and clothes, etc.

Scrying in his orb one day, Cecil made an accidental connection to Arioch and they both hit it off with each other. One thing led to another and they started dating. Due to Arioch’s nature, he could not move in with Cecil.

Cecil is the owner of his apartment, however to combat the loneliness without Arioch he put out an ad on the Netronomicon looking for roommates. Merlin, Jeremy, and Javier were all quick to apply.
